The 'Scripting' Job
The second quarter period was a thrilling experience. I get to explore the web much more. I was given a great chance to know more about the interactivity of the web. I learned a lot about webscripting and javascripting- the languages that can add interactivity to a webpage.
Webscripting was an easy task. All you have to do is to input the codes and run the page through a web browser. If there will be something wrong during the process, all you have to do is to recheck your codes and do the necessary corrections. This was a pretty easy task for me since the codes that were taught were easy to access and run and besides, I have good teacher in computer. ^_^
Javascriptng is another story, definitely another story. At first, I thought that javascripting was the same as webscripting. But as I go through the lesson, I realized that javascripting is more complicated than webscriptng. A little mistake in encoding the codes can ruin your whole page. When I was performing the javascript at first, I feel like losing my head since javascrit was not that easy for me. The lessons moved and moved and there were more codes to learn. Sometimes, I feel like I can't familiarize all the codes. But with the help of my very good teacher, Mrs. Gelina Tuangco, I was able to lessen the troubles that I have with javascripting.
The second quarter period was a hard time but, it was also fun for me. I learned a lot about webscripting and javascripting and I learned how to create a webpage, as well as a website. Hardships may come along the way, this is one thing that is unavoidable in my nature. Whenever these times come, I feel like losing my head and like I can't do it anymore. But this second quarter, I learned that if you have a good spirit of perseverance and you are willing to practice the codes all over again until you'll get it, you can overcome these hardships. I also learned that in doing a webpage or website, you don't need to memorize the codes: you just have to familiarize them. Even though I had encountered a lot of struggles along the way, at least it paid off since I learned new lessons which were interesting for me and fun. All thanks to my beloved teacher, Mrs. Gelina Tuangco.
